Greg Jones

Greg Jones is a doctoral student in the Criminology, Law, and Society Program at George Mason University. He served eight years at the Police Foundation in the Crime Mapping and Problem Analysis Laboratory and Research Division before joining the federal government. He has conducted research in several areas of policing including crime analysis and crime mapping, shift work practices, automated vehicle locator technology, and elder abuse. He served as past editor of the former Crime Mapping News and co-edited or co-authored several Police Foundation publications related to crime mapping and crime analysis. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Kentucky and Master of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland at College Park.
